It’s challenging work to be sure; there’s a large amount of inlay here, from larger blocks to the fine filaments that line the edges of the soundholes. Working the soft and fragile Spruce is also difficult. It’s a painstaking challenge, frustrating at times, but slowly, piece by piece, the front of Carolan guitar emerges.
