Carolan has been getting out and about in its home town of Beeston, finding its feet and meeting local musicians. First up is the Sunday session at the Hop Pole, a longstanding traditional music session and a chance to flex the muscles with some celtic chord work.
Next up will be the Beeston Oxjam Takeover festival on Saturday 18th October. This is the fourth time that Beeson has staged Oxjam, a national festival in which local communities of musicians gather together to raise money for Oxfam. This year there will be over 70 performers playing in 14 venues throughout the town. Carolan will be taking up residency in The Guitar Spot music shop on Chilwell High road so do drop by to say hello and play and record a song too if you fancy.
